Racing Systems, Inc. announces the return of the Badass Texas Half, 10K and 5K on Sunday, May 26, 2019 starting at Heritage Square. The Half Marathon will start in the wee hours of the morning, 6:45AM, due to its four-hour time limit and warm temperatures. The 10K and 5K will kick off at 7:00 AM, followed by an award ceremony, live music and FREE beer garden. The Badass Texas race is the 5 TH “Run Project” race scheduled for 2019. Boasting an exciting and fun filled festival atmosphere, the Badass Texas Half/10K/5K is an excellent summer race you will not want to miss. Festivities include: Finisher Medals for ALL participants, Music, FREE beer garden, and FUN! Arrive on Saturday night and enjoy all that Waco offers. With several available parking lots in the surrounding area near Waco Convention Center, parking should not be an issue. This race benefits The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, which is at the forefront of research, education and prevention initiatives designed to reduce loss of life from suicide.
