Potential d-tackle targets for the Dallas Cowboys in the 2021 NFL draft

FROM DALLASNEWS.COM

Looking ahead to 2021, defensive tackle has to be considered one of the Cowboys’ biggest needs. Neville Gallimore, Trysten Hill and Justin Hamilton are the only ones under contract for next season, according to Spotrac. The Cowboys could dip their toes into the free agency waters to try to improve the position, but the cautionary tales of Gerald McCoy and Dontari Poe could cause Jerry Jones and Co. to look to the 2021 NFL draft instead.

The 2021 defensive tackle class is thinner than usual on top-end names -- there are no transcendent prospects and few (if any) with first-round talent -- but that doesn’t mean there aren’t good players who will become impactful pros.
