Jay Weinberg is the latest rocker blown away by 10-year-old Nandi Bushell’s drumming. The rock prodigy has served up a drumming cover of Slipknot’s song “Unsainted” from their latest album, and Jay himself has given his stamp of approval.
“Yes! I am a total metal head!” Nandi writes in the caption of her cover video. “This is my first attempt at double pedals! Taking my playing to the next level!”
Jay has reposted Nandi’s video and given her big props for her “passion and energy,” telling her to keep it up. “Next time we roll through your town, give me a shout,” he adds. “You gotta show me how you do that stick flip right there.”
