Watch a Skier Save a Snowboarder Buried under Six-Feet of Powder

A skier named Francis Zuber is being called a hero for saving a snowboarder's life. He was sidecountry skiing on Mt. Baker in Washington last month when he saw a brightly colored snowboard sticking out of the deep powder, and wiggling.

It was a snowboarder and he was buried, but still alive. Francis began digging with his hands, and it was almost two minutes before he made verbal contact to assure the guy he'd be okay. The whole thing was captured on his GoPro

(WARNING: The video is loaded with profanities. He starts digging with his hands at 1:10. You see the snowboarder's arm at 1:47. They talk to each other at 2:39. He pulls a portable shovel out of his backpack at 3:52.)
