YOU COULD BE ELIGIBLE FOR UP TO $900 IF YOU GOT 'FREE CRUISE' ROBOCALLS

If you ever received one of those robocalls telling you that you could win a free cruise, you might be eligible to get a payment of up to $900. A class-action settlement says that Resort Marketing Group made the calls from 2009 to 2014 without permission in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, and people who got them could get up to $300 per call, for up to three calls. A judge gave preliminary approval of the settlement last month, saying the companies have to give between $7 million and $12.5 million to pay out claims.
