Watch Rami Malek perform as Freddie Mercury for Bohemian Rhapsody

Rami Malek proving his acting chops as frontman and music legend Freddie Mercury for one of the film's most important scenes: the Live Aid concert, which was held at Wembley Stadium in July of 1985. The clip is the first video evidence we've seen of Malek as Mercury (an exclusive photo was released earlier this month courtesy of Entertainment Weekly), and it seems like the actor is hitting all the beats of the Live Aid performance. From jogging out onstage with a spring in his step to making dramatic arm movements before shuffling over to the Pepsi cup-lined piano, everything appears to be on-point.

Joining Malek in Bohemian Rhapsody are Joe Mazzello as bass guitarist John "Deacy" Deacon, Ben Hardy as drummer Roger Taylor, Gwimlym Lee as lead guitarist Brian May, and Lucy Boynton as Mercury's lifelong friend and longtime lover Mary Austin. The film is scheduled to rock into theaters on December 25, 2018.
