This year’s Halloween in Hillsboro will occur on October 27th from 6pm to 10pm. It will include local businesses and organizations passing out candy to the trick-or-treaters on E Franklin Street downtown between 6pm and 8pm. Interested businesses and organizations may register online at www.hillsboromainstreet.org/halloweenregistration. A Kid-Friendly Spooky Fun House will be set up on Friday, October 27th only from 6pm to 10pm at 116 E Franklin St. The cost is $5. Also included in the ticket price on Friday night will be inflatables rides in Legacy Plaza and karaoke.
R&R Fitness will also be offering the Opera House on Elm Street haunted house on the second and third floors of Business Supply Center located at 117 E Elm St in historic downtown Hillsboro. Cost for the Haunted House will be $10. It will be opened from 6pm to 10pm on both Friday, October 27th and Saturday, October 28th.
This year’s event is going to also be a fundraiser for victims of Hurricane Harvey. 20% of all ticket sales this year will be donated to the Houston Flood Relief Fund.
For those looking for a great dinner on Friday night, downtown restaurants will be open and some food and drink vendors will be available in the Halloween in Hillsboro event area.
