(KFOR) OKLAHOMA CITY – Thousands of people headed to the Oklahoma State Capitol on Monday for a planned teacher walkout.

Students, teachers, support staff and supporters headed to the Capitol to pressure lawmakers to find a way to fund education.

While the sight of thousands of people sends a clear message to those at the Capitol, many people created their own signs to make sure their message wasn’t misinterpreted.
