Tube Shaped Cloud Spotted In Tennessee Was Not A UFO

The National Weather Service says the scary-looking, cylindrical mass that people around Adamsville saw earlier this month was a rare roll cloud. The weather experts say roll clouds are rare low, horizontal tube-shaped clouds associated with a thunderstorm front or a cold front. They appear to roll around a horizontal axis but they aren't funnel clouds.

At least one person got a picture of the cloud that had some people wondering if it was a UFO. The formation is very rare. Most people go their whole lives without seeing one.
