BIG 95 KBGO and Channel 6 need your help to FILL THE BUS! School starts back soon so now through August 23rd, we're asking for school supply donations including plastic poly folders with brads and pockets, backpacks, cheap headphones and any supply donations. Donations will be accepted at the KCEN-TV studios on North 3rd Street in Temple during regular business hours. All donations will benefit Temple ISD.. The most common things kids needed at the start of the school year:
- Cheap Headphones – better than earbuds, less loud than earbuds
- Plastic poly folders with brads and pockets – parents typically bring paper w/o pockets, which wear out or are lost quickly
- Backpacks – needed for new transfers coming in, the packs also get lost or worn through. Also, teachers will sometimes send them home full of food for children suffering from food insecurity
