The 5th annual “Greg May Caritas Golf Classic” will be held Friday, October 18, 2019 at Cottonwood Creek Golf Course. This tournament will be a 4-player per team, Florida Scramble, with a shotgun start at 1 pm. Lunch and registration will begin at 11:30 am.
The entry fee to play in the tournament is $100 per player ($400 per team) and includes the green fee, cart, range balls, a BBQ lunch, 3 adult beverage (beer) tickets, soft drinks, water and an Adidas cap.
Entry into the tournament will be limited to the first 120 players (30 – 4 players teams), so please don’t delay. Sign up now!!
Prizes will be awarded for:
- 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 9th, and 15th place
- Closest to the pin on all par 3’s
- Longest drive
There will also be a Hole In One contest on Hole # 17 with a grand prize of a golf resort vacation for two to
Hapuna Golf Resort on the Big Island of Hawaii (7 nights).
Prizes for a Hole In One on any of the other par 3s will include a Sharp LCD flat screen TV, a set of Callaway Diablo Irons, and Roundtrip Domestic Airfare for Two. Also, there will be a drawing for three lucky players for gift certificates for dinner for two at the Baylor Club and a Rudy’s BBQ gift basket
All proceeds from the “Greg May Caritas Golf Classic” will help Caritas provide emergency assistance such as food, clothing, household items and prescription medications to people in need in our community. Caritas serves an average of 2,500 families per month, and your participation in this tournament will help the organization to meet the emergency needs of these families.
