The Washington State Patrol is reminding drivers of just that after they pulled over an SUV decked out with lights. The Patrol’s public information officer, Trooper H. Axtman tweeted a photo of the SUV with lights on the roof rack and noted "What does the Grinch and a Trooper have in common? They both would have pulled this vehicle over for illegal lighting," He added the trooper "didn't have a heart two sizes too small" and the driver was let go with a warning.
Commenters responded with a photo of a vehicle with an even more “Clark Griswold” display including a glowing snowman. Axtman replied that they knew about it and "Love the Christmas spirit, definitely not legal and very distracting,"
