Five Finger Death Punch’s Chris Kael is the latest rocker to be dubbed a Kentucky Colonel by the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
Chris has taken to Instagram to show off his Kentucky Colonel certificate. Like Judas Priest’s Rob Halford –the last rocker to receive the honor – Chris is a Kentucky native, leaving his hometown when he joined Five Finger Death Punch in 2011.
"I am OFFICIALLY Colonel Kael now," he writes on Instagram "As a kid from Kentucky who followed his dreams until he caught them, this is an absolute honor. Looking forward to attending next year’s @thunderoverlouisville and @kentuckyderby!”
