In Joliet, Illinois, two people are dead and "over a dozen" are hurt after a shooting at a Halloween party outside Chicago. The Will County Sheriff's Office says police responded to "ten to 12" gunshots heard early Sunday morning in Joliet Township. In a Facebook post, they say over a dozen people were hurt by the gunfire, and two were pronounced dead at the scene. Witnesses tell police there were two shooters, and one has turned himself in.
In Texarkana, Texas on Saturday, shots rang out at a Halloween party held at an events center. In that incident, at least nine were injured and one is dead. There were about a couple hundred people there at the time. The suspect was arrested yesterday morning after turning himself in.
