Wes Scantlinis in the headlines again, and at least it’s not for a run-in with the law this time. Puddle of Mudd was performing Saturday at the EPIC Event Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin when Scantlin covered his face and repeatedly complained about the lighting, saying “I don’t know why the lights have to be blinding me for this whole show.”
He was serious and abruptly ended the show after just four songs. Fan-filmed footage shows Scantlin slurring his lyrics and almost talking through songs instead of singing them. Of course, it could all be due to being kept up too late by groupies, which he recently used as an excuse for his poor vocal performances.
