“Benefit Concert for James and Carolyn Hurst” at the Lee Lockwood Library and Museum, 2801 W Waco Drive on Sunday, February 20, 2022 from 1:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Admission is $10.00 per person. This giving couple has had a bad run of health and financial issues. James is a long time officer and past president of the Music Association of Central Texas and Carolyn was MACT Secretary/Treasurer for almost 10 years. These local music advocates were regular followers of several local bands and volunteered dozens of times to help work benefits for others. It is going to be a great day of music starting with Johnnie Bradshaw and Out of the Blue, James Guest and Southern Comfort, Stars Over Texas Jamboree Band with Special Guest Wes Hardin, Bubba Haze, KCD Band featuring Casey Stanislaw, Madstone, and a Jam Session.
