Unearthed Footage of Led Zeppelin 1970 Concert Found

If you ask fans of Led Zeppelin what their greatest live show was, almost all of them will say it was on September 19th, 1970 at Madison Square Garden, but other than bootleg audio recordings there’s no way to judge it…until this week. YouTube user Ikhnaton uploaded almost three minutes of ultra-rare 8mm footage of the show, synced to bootleg concert audio, and fans are going crazy. The footage was shot from the front row, and despite the jump cuts it shows off just how good the concert was.

One commenter said that this video tops the Royal Albert Hall concert, while another said, “It’s amazing to me how just under three minutes of fragmented Zeppelin footage is still better than any other band on the planet.”
