He was supposed to be there on Wednesday! The official trailer for Kevin Smith’s “Clerks 3” dropped on Wednesday, and Lionsgate and Fathom Events are set to bring the sequel to theaters for two nights only, on September 13th and 15th.
The trailer sees Randall, played by Jeff Anderson, having a near-fatal heart attack in the movie, mirroring the scare Smith had in 2018 when he tweeted a selfie from a hospital bed after surviving a “massive” heart attack. Smith says, “Everything in this script is something either me or someone I know said.”
Brian O’Halloran, Trevor Fehrman, and Jason Mewes are all returning as their fan-favorite characters.
