Kayco recalled their Glicks Dark Chocolate Conettos on Friday (February 21) due to the undeclared presence of a common allergen.

According to the United States Food & Drug Administration, the recalled product, distributed to retail stores nationwide (including those in Texas), contains "undeclared milk" which poses the risk of a "serious or life-threatening allergic reaction" to individuals allergic to the ingredient not listed on the product labels.

Consumers should avoid Glicks Dark Chocolate Conettos with Lot Code 02092024 and UPC Codes 840762044535 and 10840762044549. The products were also sold on Amazon.

So far, there have been no complaints of allergic reactions reported as a result of consuming the mislabeled Glicks Dark Chocolate Conettos. Officials are urging consumers who have already purchased the recalled product to return it to the place it was purchased for a full refund. Retailers have also been notified and have been urged to "remove any potential affected product on their shelves."

Concerned individuals with questions regarding the recalled product can contact Kayco at "Customercare@kayco.com or by phone at 718-369-4600 Monday through Friday 9 AM to 5PM Eastern Time."

For additional information on the recalled products and to see photos of the label, check out the official recall on fda.gov.
