Plans have been unveiled for a first-of-its-kind indoor movie theater that is slated to open in Nashville next year. The 40,000-square-foot "August Moon Drive-In" will have an air-supported dome, 50 classic cars, full-sized trees, hammocks, a starry night, a "sailor's moon" and even fireflies, local station Fox 17 reports. Guests will be able to choose to sit in different environments, including in one of the vintage cars or on a spread-out picnic blanket. A news release said, "The August Moon Drive-In is conceived as a mini indoor theme park that transports people in space and time to a quintessentially American experience -- where that perfect summer night at sunset, where crickets chirp in the distance and the audience breathes in the scent of fresh meadow air, can be repeated with absolute consistency within what is effectively a giant movie set."
