A mother in Troy, Texas is gaining social media attention after warning parents that watching the new "Hocus Pocus 2" movie could be spiritually harmful to their families.
The 1993 cult classic "Hocus Pocus" is a Disney Halloween movie starring Bette Midler, Kathy Najimy and Sarah Jessica Parker as the Sanderson Sisters, a trio of witches who ensnare children and sacrifice them to restore their youth. The movie is regarded by many to be a holiday staple.
The three actresses reprise their roles as the witch sisters in the new, long-awaited sequel. Hocus Pocus 2 started streaming on Disney+ last week.
